FAQ

What are the factors to consider before buying a TV?

There are several factors to consider before buying a TV, including-

  • Size: The size of the TV should be appropriate for the room in which it will be placed.
  • Display technology: There are different types of display technologies, including LED, FHD, OLED, QLED, and plasma.
  • Resolution: The TV’s resolution is the number of pixels that make up the image on the screen.
  • Smart features: Many TVs come with smart features, such as built-in Wi-Fi, streaming services, and voice control.
  • Audio quality: While video quality is important, audio quality is just as crucial. Consider the TV’s sound quality and whether you need a soundbar or external speakers.
  • Price: TVs can range from affordable to high-end. Set a budget before shopping.
  • Brand and customer support: Look for a reputable brand and read reviews from other customers. Also, consider the warranty and customer support offered by the manufacturer.
A:- The best viewing angle for a TV depends on various factors, such as the size of the TV, the distance between the viewer and the TV, and the type of content being watched. However, a viewing angle of around 30 degrees is generally ideal for most TVs.
A 4K TV is a type of high-definition television that has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, which is four times the resolution of 1080p Full HD. This means that a 4K TV can display more than 8 million pixels on the screen, resulting in sharper and more detailed images.

There are several benefits of having a 4K television:

  • Higher resolution: The primary benefit of a 4K TV is the higher resolution.
  • Improved picture quality: A higher resolution is not the only factor that affects picture quality
  • Larger screen sizes: With a higher resolution, 4K TVs are ideal for larger screen sizes.
  • Future-proof: 4K TVs are becoming more and more popular, and many content providers are starting to offer 4K content.
  • Compatibility: Many 4K TVs also come with smart features
Yes, smart TVs can be used as computer monitors. To use your smart TV as a computer monitor, you’ll need to connect your computer to your TV using an HDMI cable or a VGA cable.
The main difference between a smart TV and a non-smart TV is that a smart TV has built-in internet connectivity and the ability to access online content, while a non-smart TV does not.

Android TV and webOS TV are two different operating systems used in smart TVs. The main differences between these two are:

  • User Interface
  • App Availability
  • Voice Control
  • Compatibility
  • Performance

Android TV and Google TV are both operating systems developed by Google for smart TVs. However, there are some key differences between the two:

  • User Interface: Android TV has a more traditional, app-centric interface, while Google TV has a more content-focused interface. Google TV’s interface includes personalized recommendations and content suggestions based on your viewing history.
  • Integration with Google Assistant: Both Android TV and Google TV have built-in support for Google Assistant. However, Google TV has more advanced voice search capabilities and allows you to use Google Assistant to control your smart home devices.
  • Compatibility: Android TV is compatible with a wide range of devices, including smartphones, tablets, and gaming consoles. Google TV is currently only available on select smart TVs and the Chromecast with Google TV.
  • App Availability: Both Android TV and Google TV have access to popular streaming services like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and Hulu. However, Google TV has a more unified app store that includes both Android TV apps and apps developed specifically for Google TV.
  • Pricing: Android TV is available as a free, open-source operating system, while Google TV is only available on select devices that may have an additional cost.

LED and QLED are two different types of television display technologies. Here are the key differences:

  • LED TV: An LED TV uses a backlight to illuminate an LCD (liquid crystal display) panel. The LEDs (light-emitting diodes) can be arranged either behind the panel or around the edges. These TVs can be very thin and are generally more affordable than other types of TVs.
  • QLED TV: QLED stands for “quantum dot LED.” These TVs use a backlight, but the light passes through a layer of quantum dots before it reaches the LCD panel. This can result in a wider colour gamut and more accurate colours than LED TVs.
MEMC stands for Motion Estimation and Motion Compensation. It is a video processing technology that is used to enhance the motion clarity of a TV or display.
Dolby Vision: Dolby Vision is a high-dynamic range (HDR) technology that enhances the colour, contrast, and brightness of a video. Dolby Vision is supported by a growing number of streaming services, Blu-ray discs, and TVs.
Dolby Atmos: Dolby Atmos is an object-based audio technology that creates a three-dimensional sound field.
QLED (Quantum Dot LED) TVs use a different type of technology than OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) TVs, which are more prone to burn-in. QLED TVs use a backlight to illuminate the quantum dots, which then produce the colours, so they do not suffer from the same burn-in issues as OLED TVs.

4K, QLED, and OLED are all different aspects of a TV’s technology and cannot be directly compared. Here is a brief explanation of each technology and its benefits:

  • 4K: 4K refers to the resolution of a TV, meaning that the screen has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels, which is four times the resolution of a standard 1080p HD TV.
  • QLED: QLED (Quantum Dot LED) is a type of display technology that uses a backlight to illuminate quantum dots, which then produce the colours on the screen.
  • OLED: OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) is another type of display technology that uses organic compounds to produce light. OLED TVs are known for their deep blacks and high contrast ratios, which make them great for watching movies with dark scenes.
